RecHead delivers dynamic, tape-style modulation that reacts to how hard you play. The Sensitivity control shapes how dramatically the vibrato responds, ranging from subtle movement to near tape stop collapse. Dig in and it wobbles harder. Ease off and it breathes.

The Character control reshapes the saturation and tonal response in one sweep. From clean and jangly to woolly, compressed and smeared, it makes dialling in the exact flavour of cassette grime quick and intuitive. This isn’t just modulation, it’s attitude.

Tape Return controls the level of the emulated signal when running fully wet. You can kill the dry signal for pure degraded tape tone, or blend it back in for wider, double tracked and chorus like textures; complete with all the instability and movement that makes lo-fi tones feel alive.
